'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

Every year I make a big point out of a glamorous Christmas party outfits but couldn't find a single sequin to love this year. Fortunately, being that knob in sunglasses in the night time happens to do it for me - I guess the fur helps too. Merry Christmas!

#wallfliplight #loner

Having been a mega loner of late there has been a distinct lack of blog love. It is hard to find someone who has got enough free time, patience, artistic flair and open mindedness to take the pics for me. It is also dead embarrassing prancing around in the street, and looking like a complete dickhead is generally unavoidable.

I yanked this Topshop Skirt from my summer wardrobe a few weeks ago and have basically lived in it. It is shiny, I feel like a mermaid and I'm one shade away from flipping around and acting like one.

Today I'm wearing:
striped crop - USC
Skirt (old) - Topshop
Shoes (old) - Next
Sunglasses - Primark
Speaking of flipping and mermaids I've also been stalking Tyra Banks on Instagram loads lately and trending is this hair flipping madness #wallfliplight so I thought I'd give it a go.

It was well fun, but also got a bit mental and you can get a bit of a light head! Hence the soft landing, garden shots. How it works: set your camera to 6fps and whip your head around like a 90s mosher.

Adoring the Maltese-er Experience

Desperate for some sunshine I booked a last minute flight to Malta this Easter Break. It was amazing - there's so much history and beautiful buildings knocking about. I just wanted a beach break, a full week of doing nothing but it ended up being a bit of a city/island hopping break. Two other gorgeous islands just north of Malta - Gozo and Comino - were worth a visit. Not as hot as I wanted - explains the jeans - but I pushed through and have the cringe tan lines to show for it.
Here's my wardrobe diary this holiday.

Neon Vibes

This is the first time this year I haven't had to rush a sesh because it has been too cold! I've been dying to pull out this neon number for weeks - picked it up from River Island the one and only. There's something dead edge about black and pink and a flash of sparkle and sure I'll enjoy it for years to come whether it is in fashion or not. Not that I'd know about what's in at the moment, embarrassingly it not a priority anymore...boooo. Hopefully it will still be useful to know where I'm buying my clobber these days:

Today I'm wearing:
pink leotard - River Island
Shoes - Topshop
sunglasses - Primark
fringe Kimono - H&M

What a Day...

There's a short period of time in the year when you can wear pleather dungarees and finally it's here. There's loads of reasons why you can't wear these beauts in Winter or Summer: Firstly, they're pretty warm - I was seriously overheating one shopping trip traipsing around Meadowhall last weekend so Summer time is out of the question; you can't wear them in the winter because they're too ace to be covered with a jacket or coat; and they only look good with a cropped top underneath. So that leaves a very specific type of weather where its not too hot for a thick layer of plastic sheeting three quarters of your body, and it is not too cold to go jacketless.... there's can't really be a breeze either as half your midriff was suffer....
 Today I'm wearing:
Necklace - Topshop
Shoes - Schuh (click here)
Top - Primark
Sunglasses - Primark

Life Lately

Despite my best efforts to fight this, blogging has become a much smaller piece of the fashion pie since September last year. It is annoying. Here's a few of my every day outfits - weekends, work and general porking about from instragram. Best buy by far recently has been the leather dungaress from ASOS and my sparkly hot pants that make a disco in the sun. Enjoy.

A Scratch So Itchy...

This itch has had me squirming for months now and I'm so glad I could finally find myself again. It's half term, dry spell over and finding time for myself feels dreamy. Could have launched straight back into it with a ball gown or my pony attire. But this sunny mid week morning felt clear and crisp. So I opted for a simple V - neck tee, my fave studded jeans and some heels. Its girly but relaxed.

Today I'm Wearing:
White Tee - Zara
Leigh Jeans - Topshop Petite
Shoes - Irregular Choice
Sunglasses - Primark
Tusk Pendant - FROM A REAL DEAD WILD BOAR. Think Pumba...

An unintentional H2T Ham

I should be writing an essay but instead I'm prancing around outside taking (forcing someone to take) pictures of myself. The fruitful mix of a bad month and payday lead to a good rinsing of the local shops and today in an bid to wear some of my recently purchased items I've somehow ended up in an outfit almost completely head to toe in H&M. Some of it is old season but still feels strange wearing lots from the same shop. Also felt good to get an unintentional clash in there too.

Today I'm wearing:
long tartan sleeveless shirt - H&M
Gilet - H&M
Trousers - H&M
striped tee - H&M
shoes - Red or Dead and Schuh

Flight and Bandwagonning

I've been carried away on the Blogger's Bandwagon again! I resisted for ages to bag the blogger's skort (part skirt, part shorts). Zara started it and they've since been found in all kinds of colours, prints and materials. It's been resisted all summer then I happened to be browsing a tiny, independent shop on the Doncaster high street  when I found this beauty. It's pleather. But it's also a fad, so its fine.
It's quite a casual outfit today, so I jazzed them up with some huge blingies.

Today I'm wearing:
Wings Hoodie - Ebay (similar here)
Tee- Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Red or Dead - Schuh

Bree

I've been at my new job for seven weeks now and it requires me to wear formal conservative stuff. I don't mind but still  haven't quite found myself yet and feel like I'm slowly losing my personality through my clothes - which as you might imagine, its a cold-sweat, wrinkle-inducing kind of terrifying. Anyhow, the decision has been made after watching a ton of Desperate Housewives this weekend that I'm going to start channelling Bree Van De Kamp some days to feel girly and when it starts getting really cold I'll dress all androgynous. Get ready for brogues, bow ties, quiffs and matchy suits.
Today I'm wearing:
hat - Charity shop
Cropped knit - Primark
Skirt - Topshop
Belt - Versace
Shoes - Office
