A Scratch So Itchy...

This itch has had me squirming for months now and I'm so glad I could finally find myself again. It's half term, dry spell over and finding time for myself feels dreamy. Could have launched straight back into it with a ball gown or my pony attire. But this sunny mid week morning felt clear and crisp. So I opted for a simple V - neck tee, my fave studded jeans and some heels. Its girly but relaxed.

Tropical Vintage

I found this dress in a vintage stall at Portobello Market several years ago for my 20th birthday party and every year I still pull it out to wear all Summer. The print it amazing!! And I reckon if soul mates were clothes... I'm also wearing an Adidas pink lumo jacket which I've had since my teens and my very first pair of Irregular choice shoes. I bought them from Faith about 10 years ago! oh today is an aged day.

Purple Prose

Finally my dress arrived from Australia! I've found the most amazing eBay shop and I literally want to buy everything. It's really reasonable in terms of price and considering it is shipped from the other side of the world p&p is not bad either. This dress is the closest I'll get to the whole dungaree/pinafore trend this season - they remind me too much of school - and as an aspiring science teacher it just doesn't feel right.  I'm also wearing my new snap back from Pretty Little Thing!! It was just £5 and its got fur, studs and some serious embellishment on it... you can't quite see it in the outfit post but no doubt I'll be wearing it a lot. They've got loads of different styles of hats so I'll probably making another purchase soon.

February Feeling

The past few weeks have been freezing but super sunny which has got me excited about the coming Spring. Colours are creeping their way back into my black attire and to keep me warm I've tried to channel colours through my accessories - for example my red Irregular choice shoes or through bright nail colours. I'm also really feeling a fringe finish on practically everything at the moment. Fringe bags, shirts, skirts, jackets and my latest fringed item are these pleather shorts from Boohoo.com - they're amazing! They make my otherwise flat packed buttocks look peachy...

Blaze Amaze

This Winter has felt pretty grim and the mood and been reflected in my wardrobe with blacks and dark colours. So today despite the frosty sharp temperatures I put on my favourite red shoes to add a bit of energy to my outfit. Today I'm wearing a vintage blazer I picked up at a vintage kilo sale - the big shoulder pads made me feel a bit butch so also a perfect reason to wear some seriously girl ginham shoes. The leggings are a DIY project, I practiced on a cheapy pair of Primark ones for £3 - they worked well so will be doing a post about them soon!

By the way, its not safe to stand with your back to traffic in the road, please do not try this at home :)
